Madison is a compassionate and dedicated social worker with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Michigan State University (2023) and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University (2024). Currently holding a Limited License Master of Social Work, Madison is committed to supporting children and families through various challenges.
With experience spanning from infants to young adults (ages 0-18) that have been identified as having a severe emotional disturbance (SED), Madison utilizes a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including play therapy, art therapy, music therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. This eclectic approach allows for tailored interventions that meet the unique needs of each client.
Madison has a strong advocacy background, working closely with students in elementary, middle, and high school settings to navigate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and access necessary support services. Their work has extended to home-based and school-based therapy across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, ensuring comprehensive care for clients and families.
In addition, Madison has valuable experience with teenagers in the juvenile justice system, collaborating with Juvenile Mental Health Courts to provide targeted services and establish treatment goals. They have also supported caregivers in obtaining guardianship and adopting children, emphasizing stability and continuity in care.
Collaboration is key in Madison’s practice; they coordinate with nurse practitioners to assess client needs and work alongside psychiatric hospitals to facilitate smooth discharges.
Specializing in issues such as PTSD, ADHD, and anger management, Madison is dedicated to empowering children and supporting parents in their journey to help their children thrive.
Certified in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), Madison approaches every situation with a focus on safety and compassion, ensuring that both children and parents feel supported throughout the therapeutic process.
